Stage Challenge and School Productions are big features of our school life, with a large number of students involved. The annual New Girls' Concert provides an opportunity for both new girls and staff to showcase their talents.

St Mary's also offers private tuition to students in Speech and Drama by a qualified Speech and Drama teacher who visits the school several days each week. Lessons are held through the school terms, during normal class hours and are available for beginners and those more experienced.

Students may sit external examinations through Speech NZ or Trinity College, as well as participate in local competitions throughout Taranaki. For more information including costs please contact the School office.
